Heading into the penultimate MotoE showdown of 2024 with full throttle

A few weeks after Hector Garzo's phenomenal double victory at the Sachsenring, the Dynavolt Intact GP MotoE team will continue its journey to Austria at the impressive Red Bull Ring, where Lukas Tulovic will also try to fight for top results again with a stronger hand.

With a 25-point lead in the world championship, Hector Garzo will roll up to the start of the first race on Saturday at 12:15 (CEST), always with the aim of defending this position with everything at his disposal. For the 26-year-old Spaniard with starting number 4, the races in Austria will be decisive in the battle for the title, as it will not only be his closest rival Mattia Casadei who will want to challenge him for the lead. With his double victory at the Sachsenring, the ambitious Garzo left a remarkable demonstration of power in the minds of his rivals, but they will not give in so easily, which is why it will be particularly important to already set the right course in qualifying.

Lukas Tulovic celebrated a strong top 10 result in Moto2 in Austria last year, but in MotoE, the 24-year-old German is certainly hoping for more from the two races on the 4.35-kilometre circuit, which is situated between lush green mountain peaks. At his home Grand Prix, the German showed a strong evolution on his Ducati V21L in extremely changeable conditions, which he would like to build on in Friday's practice sessions and the subsequent qualifying session starting at 16:15 (CEST) in order to shine in the two 7-lap sprints on Saturday.

The penultimate MotoE showdown of the year should not be missed, as it is not only about maintaining the world championship lead for Hector Garzo but also about keeping first place in the team standings in the hands of the German racing team, which has been extremely successful since the debut of the all-electric racing series in 2019.
