Misano Adriatico - Between 'La dolce vita' & podium battles

No time to take a breath for the LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP Team, which is already focusing on the thirteenth race of the season, which takes place this week at the Misano World Circuit, just a few days after the Grand Prix of Aragon. New world championship runner-up Collin Veijer has 75 points to make up and his Japanese team-mate Tatsuki Suzuki is also aiming to get back into the top 10. In Moto2, Darryn Binder and rookie Senna Agius are fighting for more valuable championship points as the second half of the season is picking up pace.

Just a week ago in Aragon, Spain, Collin Veijer made the leap from fourth to second place in the Moto3 World Championship thanks to a strong second place. The Dutchman cannot rest on his laurels in the title fight, as there are still eight races to go in the season. Starting with the Misano GP this weekend, which is held just a stone's throw away from the famous coastal town of Rimini. Can the 19-year-old further reduce his 75-point deficit? The answer will be revealed on Sunday at 11:00 (CEST). At the same time, Japan's Tatsuki Suzuki will also be getting ready for what will be a special race Sunday for him, as the Grand Prix of Misano is like a home race for the Italian by choice, who lives in San Marino, so the veteran will be hoping to shine with a great result.

In Moto2, Darryn Binder will be looking to continue his upward trend after the South African secured his third consecutive top-10 result in Aragon last week. On his Kalex, Binder will be looking to lay the foundations for a successful weekend from Friday onwards. Rookie Senna Agius will certainly be keeping an eye on his experienced team-mate's data in order to quickly get the groove for the 4.23 km long iconic track and be ready for the 22-lap race on Sunday at 12:15 (CEST).
