MotoE title fight reaches its climax in Misano

After seven phenomenal race weekends in the FIM MotoE World Championship, the Dynavolt Intact GP MotoE team travels to Misano Adriatico for the big season finale. In tow will be world championship leader Hector Garzo, who could bring himself and the German racing team a second rider and team title. The German Lukas Tulovic aims to contribute to the latter with two top results.

38 points. That is Hector Garzo's lead at the top of the standings ahead of the double race in Misano, where 50 points are still up for grabs. The Spaniard is the clear favourite for the title for obvious reasons, as the 26-year-old has taken four victories up to this thrilling finale, two of them alone at his team's emotional home Grand Prix at the Sachsenring. In addition to these successes, Garzo also finished on the podium a further five times. This record shall now be crowned with the hard-fought title on Saturday. First, he has to weather the two 8-lap races on the 4.23 km Misano World Circuit, whereby the title could already be decided after the first race. Garzo is looking forward to the weekend, which could bring him his greatest career success to date, but he will also be cautious because where everything can be won, everything can be lost.

Even if Lukas Tulovic is no longer able to intervene in the title fight, the young German is still aiming for his first podium finish this season, which has been partly affected by injuries. In Misano, the rider from Baden-Württemberg expects to find a better feeling for his Ducati V21L again after not quite being able to keep up with the pace of the top riders in Austria. Either way, the 24-year-old wants to contribute to winning the Team World Championship by collecting as many points as possible in the races on Saturday at 12:15 p.m. and 16:15 p.m.
