Showdown in Valencia: Schrötter & Vierge are ready for the final attack

A positive 2018 season for the Dynavolt Intact GP team enters the final round this weekend at Valencia. Marcel Schrötter as well as Xavi Vierge, who will be contesting his final race for the German squad, will give their all to defend their top ten positions in the Moto2 World Championship.

After more than nine months, the Intact GP crew returns to Valencia. A lot has happened since the team completed the first official test of the year there in February - in 18 races so far, three podiums and numerous top results have been achieved. This weekend takes part already the last race of the 2018 season!

Valencia has hosted the MotoGP finale since 2002! The special stadium-like design of the 4-kilometre Ricardo Tormo Circuit offers a great overview of the race action to the spectators from almost everywhere around the facility.

Encouraged by the unique atmosphere at Valencia, the Dynavolt Intact GP riders Marcel Schrötter and Xavi Vierge want to mobilize all their energy to end the season with a successful weekend. Both still have the chance to make up a few places in the World Championship Standings.

Marcel Schrötter returns from the overseas trip in eighth place. After the 25-year-old had been regularly part of the leading guys during the practice sessions in Thailand, Japan, Australia and Malaysia, it didn't go as planned in the respective races, partly through no fault of his own. At Valencia he will give it his all to prove once again that he belongs to the best riders in Moto2.

Xavi Vierge is arriving at his fourth home race of the year. The Spaniard has experienced a strong upswing in the recent weeks, which succeeded in a podium in Australia. In his last appearance for the Dynavolt Intact GP team this weekend, the 21-year-old, who currently occupies ninth place of the total standings, wants to fight with the top guys once again and say goodbye with the best possible result.
