LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP ready for the Texas Rodeo
This weekend, it's time to saddle up again for the Texas Rodeo at the Circuit of the Americas, which is calling for the third Grand Prix of 2025. In Austin, LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP riders David Muñoz and Guido Pini will be looking to assert themselves in Moto3, while Manuel Gonzalez and Senna Agius will be chasing their next points in Moto2.
After a bumpy start to the season, David Muñoz and rookie Guido Pini want to get off to a fresh start in Austin. Muñoz, who finished fifth in 2024, is aiming for his first points of the season. The 18-year-old Spaniard is highly motivated to fulfil his potential on the demanding 5.51 km up- and downhill track and is looking forward to getting back to work with his crew.
For the young Italian, Guido Pini, it will be a premiere on the COTA. The rookie will have to familiarise himself with the track quickly in order to find a precise set-up in the short practice sessions. The 1200 metre long straight, the anti clock wise direction and the 20 varied corners pose a particular challenge for the Moto3 race, which starts on Sunday at 11:00 local time (18:00 CET), but the youngster can also hardly wait to start his first Texas Rodeo.
Manuel Gonzalez is aiming for his third podium in a row after his victory in Thailand and second place in Argentina. The 22-year-old Spaniard wants to continue his winning streak and is aiming for the front row of the grid again after two pole positions in a row. But before the Moto2 race starts on Sunday at 12:15 local time (19:15 CET), Gonzalez will do everything he can to set the course for the perfect time attack in FP1 in the afternoon session in order to be prepared for the qualifying shootout.
Senna Agius wants to make a fresh start in Austin after his 13th place in Argentina. The motivated Australian is ready to assert himself in the 16-lap race on the technically demanding circuit designed by German architect Hermann Tilke and hopes to fight for top positions once again.
