Pole for Manuel Gonzalez in Argentina

COPY and PASTE for LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP rider Manuel Gonzalez, who clinched his second pole position of the year at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit and is therefore very confident about Sunday's 21-lap race. Senna Agius has a challenging catch-up race ahead of him from 22nd on the grid on row eight.

The course is set for another successful appearance in Moto2 for Manuel Gonzalez, but the Argentina Grand Prix will certainly not be easy and even if rain is not expected on race Sunday, the competition remains fierce. The 22-year-old demonstrated his potential on the Kalex right from the start. With P1 in the first free practice session and the fastest time again (1'41.713) in practice, he set the bar high again in Q2. Starting from pole Posotion, the Spaniard is now aiming for his second win of the season.

Senna Agius on the other side of the German team box had a little more to contend with on the demanding and unfamiliar track. Even though the Australian made great progress from Friday to Saturday, his eighth place in Q1 was not enough to qualify for Q2. From 22nd on the grid on row eight, the 19-year-old will try to push forwards from the start, as there is no time to lose in order to achieve a good result.

The Moto2 race starts at 13:15 local time (17:15 CET) and promises packed racing action.
