Krummenacher & Garzo plan World Championship advance in Austria
With just three race weekends remaining in this year's MotoE World Championship season, the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix will see the DYNAVOLT INTACT GP MotoE team around Silverstone winner Randy Krummenacher and Hector Garzo enter the hot phase of the season.
Two weeks after Randy Krummenacher's first win of the season, the Swiss is aiming for at least a repeat this weekend at the 4.32 km long Styrian Red Bull Ring. But the 33-year-old would prefer a double victory or at least a double podium to push himself into the top 3 of the championship for the final phase of the season.
One point behind, Hector Garzo is pursuing the exact same goal, as the DYNAVOLT INTACT GP MotoE duo are currently in fourth and fifth positions, with Krummenacher just one and 25-year-old Garzo only two points short of third place in the championship.
Even though both are hoping for rain-free sessions, after heavy rain sessions at the British GP, showers are to be expected on Friday. The races, which start on Saturday at 12:15 and 16:10 (CEST), are currently expected to take place in high summer temperatures and can be followed live on ServusTV.
