Servus from the Red Bull Ring!

The eleventh Grand Prix of the season takes the LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP Team to the Red Bull Ring in beautiful Styria, where Collin Veijer and Tatsuki Suzuki want to set the pace in Moto3 from the 16th - 18th of August. The Moto2 duo of Darryn Binder and Senna Agius will also be on a top-speed hunt and will once again be targeting the top 10 in Moto2, as they did recently at Silverstone.

The Austrian Grand Prix is not only characterised by the unique Red Bull Ring but also by the breathtaking mountain panorama surrounding the 4.35km circuit and the annual crowds of spectators, making it an event of superlatives.

Collin Veijer, currently fourth in the Moto3 World Championship, is also striving for superlatives. For the Dutchman, it is no longer just about the odd podium finishes and race wins, instead, the 19-year-old is in the midst of the fierce title fight of 2024. Just two points currently separate him from the top three in the world rankings, but Veijer's real goal lies 68 points away and with ten chances left, anything is possible. In 2023, last year's rookie had to cede third place to his then team-mate, but he will try to avoid that scenario in 2024, although Tatsuki Suzuki will also be fighting to finish high up on his Husqvarna. Whether both LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP - Moto3 riders manage to turn their goals into results will be revealed on Sunday as soon as the lights go out at 11:00 (CEST).

It will get just as exciting a little later on at 12:15 when the Moto2 warhorses of the German team roll onto the grid for the 23-lap race, for which both Darryn Binder, after their sixth place in Silverstone, and Senna Agius have big plans. While South African veteran Binder has already raced in all three world championship classes on the Austrian track with its 810-metre-long straight, the 18-year-old rookie will be returning to the place where he once made his world championship debut in 2022 as Sam Lowes' substitute rider. Just two years later, the duo will be competing in Moto2 on a joint mission: to secure the next top 10 results of the season.
