DYNAVOLT INTACT GP MotoE duo keen for season opener in Le Mans
Long months of preparation, testing, and waiting have now come to an end, as the season opener of the 2023 MotoE World Championship will take place in Le Mans, France, next weekend, from the 12th - 13th of May. The DYNAVOLT INTACT GP MotoE team around Randy Krummenacher and Hector Garzo is ready to fight for a successful World Championship.
The first of a total of eight double races of the 2023 season promises to be gripping and close as never before, as the pre-season tests and the most recent qualifying and race simulation demonstrated the tremendous power density of the 18 riders on the brand new Ducati V21L machines.
For his part, Hector Garzo can hardly wait to finally get the season underway. Last year, the 24-year-old Spaniard finished sixth in the MotoE race on the 4.19 km French track and is hoping for dry conditions to fully exploit his personal potential as well as that of his Ducati.
The 33-year-old Swiss Randy Krummenacher wants to put no less pressure on his competitors. "Krummi", as called by friends, is eager to start his MotoE career and hopes to be at the front right from the start.
What's new is that all practice and qualifying sessions will take place on Friday, followed by both races just four hours apart on Saturday, starting with the first eight-lap sprint at 12:10 (CEST). Race 2 will then start at 16:10 (CEST). Not a particularly quiet weekend agenda, but both Randy Krummenacher and Hector Garzo are well prepared for this Herculean task and are looking forward to a successful start to the season.
