Riding the wave of success towards the Sachsenring

After the recent successes in Assen, the next sporting highlight is already awaiting the riders of the Dynavolt Intact GP MotoE team. But also personally, because the Sachsenring is not only the home Grand Prix for local hero Lukas Tulovic, but also for the Memmingen-based racing team and so Hector Garzo also wants to provide a reason to celebrate.

With the Sachsenring GP, there are a total of three weekends left on the 2024 FIM MotoE World Championship agenda and therefore only six races to claim the championship win.
Spaniard Hector Garzo is currently only eleven points behind in fifth place in the World Championship. Another victory on the rollercoaster track of the Hohenstein-Ernstthal could turn things around, but the fact that the top five are only eleven points apart shows just how high and close the level is in the all-electric class, which is contested on Ducati V21L machines. The 26-year-old title contender will be fully focused on a good qualifying session on Friday afternoon in order to have a strong starting point for the two 11-lap sprints.

Local hero Lukas Tulovic will also be travelling to Germany with no less in mind. Hundreds of thousands of fans will gather around the 3.67 km long Sachsenring to cheer on their two-wheeled heroes. In Assen, the rider from Baden-Württemberg defied the post-operative pain of his hand operation and hopes that the days between the races will bring further progress in his recovery. The exciting thing will be to see how his left hand can withstand the strain of the ten left-hand turns. The 24-year-old wants to have a say in the battle for the top three in front of his home crowd, which is why he will tackle the four Friday sessions tactically in order to lay the foundations for the two MotoE races on Saturday at 12:15 (CEST) and 16:10.
