Intact juniors reunited in Jerez

LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP Junior Team will start an extended summer which is to be an expected heat race this weekend in Jerez de la Frontera in southern Spain.

After an almost three-month break from in FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship with the JuniorGP™ Moto3™ class and European Talent Cup, the series returns this weekend with its fifth event of the season. Teams and riders have travelled to the all well-known Circuito de Jerez in Andalusia for this occasion.

In the top-class JuniorGP™ Moto3™ class, the Memmingen-based LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP Junior Team will be at the start with a full line-up. The trio of riders consisting of the two Upper Austrians Jakob Rosenthaler and Leo Rammerstorfer as well as Rico Salmela from Finland has collected a lot of race kilometers despite the long break since the last event in Portugal in mid-June. 18-year-old Jakob Rosenthaler from Linz even raced at the highest level in two-wheels racing, participating at the Grand Prix in Spielberg mid of August and in Misano as a wildcard entry, which is a truly further confirmation of the German team’s first-class work being done with young talents.

Ahead of the third-last stop of the season, the three young talents are in a promising position with a small points gap to finish in the top ten of the overall standings at the end of the year, which is also the goal of the ambitious squad.

In European Talent Cup, the team will be expanded to two riders in the foreseeable future. In addition to Alex Longarela from Madrid, 14-year-old Fynn Kratochwil is joining LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP Team. The young Thuringian rider should have made his debut in ETC this weekend, but a recently suffered injury to his foot has forced him to postpone it.

The championship comprises seven race weekends. There will be live timing from Friday and, as usual, a live stream via the series' YouTube channel on Sunday, where all races will be shown.
