Strengthened and with positive memories towards the penultimate round of the season in Malaysia

For the LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP Team, the overseas journey continues to Malaysia at the Sepang International Circuit. The place where Collin Veijer celebrated his debut victory in the Moto3 World Championship in 2023 and the team celebrated its first double victory in the small class. This year, Veijer and his team-mates Tatsuki Suzuki as well as Darryn Binder and Senna Agius in Moto2 are also striving for further success in the penultimate round of the season.

Just under a year ago, the German LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP team triumphed twice in Moto3, with Collin Veijer and Ayumu Sasaki taking a double victory on the 5.54 km circuit, which is located around 50 km south of the metropolis of Kuala Lumpur. It was an unforgettable weekend for the Dutchman, as the 19-year-old's debut victory heralded a run of success that has seen him battle for the World Championship crown for long stretches of his second Moto3 season, with the runner-up title still at stake. Tatsuki Suzuki, for his part, will be looking to finish with a top result to fulfill his and his team's dream of finishing runner-up in the team standings.

After both showed a good start to the race in Thailand in similarly challenging conditions, Moto2 riders Darryn Binder and Senna Agius are looking forward to the next race weekend, which is likely to be grueling again due to the heat and high humidity. Unfortunately, a slip was the South African's undoing, followed by the Australian's crash shortly after. The duo had previously made up numerous positions, but in order to have less work ahead of them in the race, both are aiming for a better position in qualifying. They want to lay the foundations for this in the Friday sessions.

With a seven-hour time difference, German-speaking fans will have to get up early one last time, because those who do not want to miss the penultimate showdowns in Moto3 and Moto2 should tune in at 5:00 a.m. (CET) on Sunday, 3rd of November, so as not to miss any of the 15 thrilling Moto3 laps before the 17-lap Moto2 race starts at 06:15 a.m. (CET).

After the storms and catastrophic floods in Valencia yesterday, our thoughts are with the people affected, many of whom are part of our MotoGP family.
