Krummenacher & Garzo aim to satisfy victory-hunger in Assen
After a successful German Grand Prix, DYNAVOLT INTACT GP MotoE Team riders Randy Krummenacher and Hector Garzo are both striving to climb the top step of the podium at the fourth round of the MotoE World Championship in Assen, Netherlands.
Hector Garzo certainly got a taste for it after his debut victory at the Sachsenring. Especially as the Spaniard is looking for revenge after his undeserved knock-out in the first race of the German Grand Prix, and primarily to close the gap to the current World Championship leader, Jordi Torres. Last year, the 25-year-old finished fifth and tenth, but the German MotoE squad knows how to win at the 4.54 km long, legendary TT circuit Assen thanks to a double podium from last year's Cup winner, Dominique Aegerter.
The shoes of his Swiss compatriot may be big, but rookie Randy Krummenacher has recently proven that he is a force to be reckoned with in each of the closely contested sprint races. For the MotoE World Championship, the Dutch TT marks the halfway point in the 8-race weekend season. The 33-year-old Krummenacher is getting to know his Ducati V21L machine better with every lap completed and is persistently striving for his first triumph.
As usual, MotoE will complete two practice sessions on Friday before qualifying in the afternoon decides the grid positions for Saturday's two races, the first of which starts at 12:15 (CEST) and Race 2 at 16:10 (CEST).
