Success-hungry towards Thailand, the penultimate stop of the Asian-Tour

Carried by the euphoria of Senna Aigus' first Moto2 podium at his home race, the journey for the entire LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP team now continues to Thailand, where the eighteenth round of the season is on the agenda at the Chang International Circuit from the 25th - 27th of October. The Moto2 and Moto3 riders of the German racing team head into the hot Thai weekend with ambitious goals.

With only three races remaining in the 2024 season, the battle for the last points and titles is tightening up, because even though the Moto3 World Champion has already been crowned with David Alonso, Collin Veijer and the entire LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP Team are still in contention for the runner-up spot in both the Rider and Moto3 Team World Championships. The Dutchman is currently 23 points behind Daniel Holgado, but with the remaining two overseas races in Thailand and Malaysia and the grand finale in Valencia, Spain, a lot is still possible for the 19-year-old before his promotion to Moto2, and Veijer does not want to let that be taken away from him and his crew. Tatsuki Suzuki will primarily be looking for a better grid position in Buriram and will try to be among the front runners in tropical temperatures when the lights go out at 07:00 (CEST) on Sunday.

Still on cloud nine, it's now time for Home GP podium taker Senna Agius to work on the next highlight of the season, because, after his third place in front of his home crowd, the 19-year-old has certainly tasted blood and is aiming for more top positions in the 18th race of the season, which starts for European fans at 08:15 (CEST) on Sunday.
Last year, Darryn Binder scored points with 15th place on the 4.55km Chang International Circuit, and the South African recently finished 12th on Phillip Island, but the 26-year-old wants more. More points and more reason to be happy. The former MotoGP rider is hoping for more rear grip in Thailand after causing a stir in Indonesia by grabbing fifth place a few weeks ago in similar conditions.
